First Annual Celebration for Assistant Professors

Day of the DeadOn Thursday, January 31st from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the Zimmerli Art Museum, Byrne Seminars joins the Aresty Research Center to sponsor the First Annual Celebration for Assistant Professors. This annual event has been created to welcome faculty new to Rutgers and provide them with a space for meeting professors from other schools and departments while enjoying food, drinks, and live entertainment. We look forward to meeting our new faculty colleagues and to highlighting for them all of the opportunities and resources that are available in the Undergraduate Academic Affairs. Please join us.

A jazz quartet from Mason Gross School of the Arts will perform throughout the evening and there will be a very brief program at 5:00pm.  Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs, Dr. Greg Jackson, will discuss the Byrne and Aresty programs and research opportunities available through these respective programs.  In addition, Dr. Angela Mullis, Director of Byrne Seminars, Dr. Chuck Keeton, Faculty Director of Aresty, and Dean Matthew Evans, Director of Aresty, will be on-hand to talk about their programs in more depth with faculty.  Event also sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Academic Affairs.
